About Bit rate - shows viewed on a local computer need not worry about setting this. The setting is only relevant if the Real Player version of a slideshow will be played as a streaming show on a Real Network Server.

A simple formula to calculating required bandwidth or needed bit rate for a particular SlideShow :

Add up the total size of all the pictures (and audio if used) (in KB)

Multiply by 8

Divide by the total # of seconds the SlideShow Runs.

Example: Your slideshow has 5 pictures - their total size is 200KB

The Slide show run for 30 seconds (RPWiz tells you the duration of the Show)

( 200K * 8 = 1600Kbit ) / 30 sec = 53.3 >> 54Kbit Stream. This is pretty fast. A 56K Dialup connection usually tops out at around 34Kbit. This show would probably not stream. RPWiz is not designed to produce shows for a streaming server.  If you want to produce shows for a streaming server, there are other products on the market. A good starting place for more information about streaming shows is the Real Web Site or Window Media Web Site.
