Set User Options
RPWiz stores a number of User Options that apply to all SlideShows. This is where you set them up. You should choose this Option the first time you run RPWiz to save your choices. Each time RPWiz is started with a New Project, the options display in this window are applied. You will see some of these options on other windows - setting them there will only change that setting for the SlideShow you are working on and not change the Default values you set here.
-
SlideShow Title - Title that displays in Real Player's Play List Window & in
the Web Browser.
-
Author - Author displays in Real Player's Play List Window & in the Web
Browser
-
Copyright - Copyright displays in Real Player's Play List Window.
-
URL - Whenever Real Player is playing a show, you can Click on the show window to open a Browser window. This URL is the Web site that will open when the window is Clicked on.
Also, assigned to the Author Name in the Web Browser. (Screen
Shot)
-
Bit Rate - this is a required attribute of a RealPix file. It defines the maximum
bandwidth the SlideShow will use. If slide shows are being shown on your local computer, this setting isn't important.
Real Player does require a value for this though - leave the default
setting. If you are actually Streaming the Slideshow
(from a Real Server) this setting is important. See About
Bit rate for more information.
-
Maintain Aspect Ratio - a picture will keep it's original Height to Width ratio when it is displayed in
Real Player. Web Browsers Shows maintain the aspect ratio regardless of the
setting.
- Background Color - this is the color of any "blank" space around a picture. A Picture may not completely fill the Player window - this is the color that will show when it does not.
-
Caption Background and Text Color - the initial colors used for Captions.
-
Use Optimized JPG files - when set, RPWiz will check for an optimized version of the pictures you use in a slide show and use the optimized name in the RP file. If the optimized file doesn't exist,
one will be created. If you attempt to play a RP file and the optimized files have not been created,
Real Player may get an error telling you unknown format.
When you have finished setting your Options, Click OK to save them. Clicking Cancel discards any changes you made.
